Nadia Bodie holds a B.A. in Music/Vocal Performance from Florida Memorial University and a M.A. in Theatre Arts from Bowling Green State University. She is currently teaching Acting and Directing courses, as well as working as Promotions and Marketing Director at Jackson State University in Jackson, Mississippi. She is also completing a Ph.D. in Fine Arts with emphasis in Acting/Directing and Arts Administration from Texas Tech University.

Nadia's main fields of interest are Advocacy for the Arts, Vocal and Theatre pedagogy and performance, Black Feminist Theory, Identity and Gender roles in America, and the African Diaspora, and Theatre for social change. She hopes that her role as a teacher will provide an environment to motivate and inspire great leaders, open-minded, creative thinkers and free spirits who laugh a little too loud.
